Field Engineer

 

We currently have a position available for a Field Engineer in the Seattle, WA and Santa Paula, CA areas.

This position involves extensive travel and provides the action-oriented, entry level civil engineer an opportunity to learn first-hand the complex world of geotechnical and deep foundation construction. If you decided to become an engineer because you wanted to make things happen, we can provide you with project engineering management experience while at the same time expanding your technical knowledge.

Requirements:

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Management, MS desirable
• Sound technical knowledge
• Problem solving and commonsense
• Communication and teamwork

Project Manager

 

We are seeking a results-driven Construction Project Manager in Santa Paula, CA who has the desire to work in a quality company with superior products and a reputation for excellence.

In this position, you will be responsible for day to day management of projects, estimating and proposal preparation, contract negotiations, managing change orders and claims, monitoring and managing project schedule, cost control and QA/QC requirements, project invoicing and securing payment.

Qualified candidates must have 3-5 years Heavy Civil Construction or Geotechnical Construction experience with a BS degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Other requirements include: strong project management experience in general construction, drilling, piling, earth retention, solid familiarity with all project contractual requirements and proven experience working effectively as a liaison with Engineers, General Contractors, and Owners. Some experience with project development/marketing preferred. Excellent communication, writing and computer skills necessary.
